Nike near deal for NBA uniform rights

Nike Inc. is close to securing a long-term NBA uniform rights deal, according to sources familiar with the move. Adidas recently dropped its bid to extend its apparel contract with the league, leaving the door open for Nike or Baltimore-based Under Armour Inc. to take over the high-profile deal in 2017.
