NinePoint Medical gets $34M for throat imaging system

Almost a year after launching is imaging system for the esophagus in the U.S., NinePoint Medical has received a $34 million investment led by Corning Inc. The Cambridge-based company, which has 65 employees, said the Series B round of investment also came from Third Rock Ventures and Prospect Venture Partners.
