Encased in aluminum housing, Vert-X 28HD Series non-contact angle sensors are sealed against ingress of liquids and solids to IP 69K, withstand shock of 50 G and vibration of 20 G, and operate over -40 to +85°C temperature range. Units feature 0-360° measurement range, 12-bit repeatability of 0.1° or better, and maximum hysteresis of 0.1°. Minimum life is 360 million movements and units last 185 or 240 yr depending on version. Output options of 0.1–10 V, 0.5–4.5 V, or 4–20 mA are available.
