Nonresidential Construction Spending up 0.7 Percent in February

According to April 1 construction spending report by U.S. Commerce Department, nation’s nonresidential construction spending rose 0.7% in February. Total nonresidential construction spending stands at $575.6 billion, and is up 2.6% from 1 year ago. In February, private nonresidential construction spending rose 0.4% on monthly basis and 6.1% on year-over-year basis, while public nonresidential construction spending expanded 1.1% on monthly basis, but was still 1.2% lower from same time last ...This story is related to the following:Trade Associations
