Nordea posts bigger-than-expected profit fall

Nordea Bank AB , the Nordic region's biggest lender, Wednesday reported a bigger-than-expected fall in fourth-quarter net profit as negative interest rates weighed on its earnings. Net profit at the Stockholm-based bank fell to EUR848 million in the three months ending Dec. 31, from EUR877 million in the same period a year ago.
