As announced by U.S. EPA and Department of Justice, LSB Industries Inc. (LSB) and 4 of its subsidiaries have agreed to reduce harmful emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) by meeting emission limits at plants in Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Total penalty of $725,000 is also due to resolve alleged violations of Clean Air Act and applicable Oklahoma state law.
