OPC Foundation Names Stefan Hoppe as new vice president.

OPC Foundation named one member of its Board of Directors, Stefan Hoppe (president of OPC Europe), as its new vice president. In this position, Hoppe will take global leadership role to help position OPC-UA as worldwide standard for interoperability and IoT (Internet of Things) communication. Hoppe expressed excitement over working with those of shared passion for building infrastructure to support greater connectivity in manufacturing and automation.
