Officials say a pipeline leak that caused between 1,200 and 1,700 gallons of crude oil to spill into a creek near Gillette has been clamped to prevent further leakage. The Gillette News Record reports that the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality has blamed the leak that was reported Sunday on internal corrosion of the pipeline.
