Oman plans to double jobs in logistics

Muscat: Oman plans to more than double employment in the logistics sector to 80,000 jobs by the end of the decade, rising to 300,000 by 2040. Increased investments and a targeted approach to joining Oman's logistics chain will boost the Sultanate's capacity to move its domestic and export cargo, as well as strengthen its credentials as a major freight trans-shipment hub.
