Designed for both ring and bus topologies, Model OBR40 optimizes availability of fiber-optic Ethernet networks by ensuring that they remain operational despite power failures at one or more switches. Unit is available with ports that support multi-mode 62.5/125 µm, multi-mode 50/125 µm, and single-mode 9/125 µm fiber types. Switching threshold is adjustable via DIL switch over 1–32 V range.
