We are currently looking for an Optical Design and Analysis Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Optical Design and Analysis Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. You will be working onsite to support following tasksareas Performance of optical tolerance analyses including the generation of sensitivity matrices and performance of Monte Carlo simulations Import of optical designs from Code V into Zemax Performance of optical analyses optical transmission, polarization, birefringence Performance of thermo elastic simulation including thermal parameters of lens displacements due to mechanical deformations Optical illumination engineering Perform optomechanical engineering Definition of technical specifications for optical systems, subsystems and equipment Support to internal project reviews preparation Performance of stray light analysis ghosts, unwanted reflections on mechanical parts Performance of Radiometric calculation Simulation of scattering by diffusors. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University Degree in Optic Optronic Engineering or any other relevant discipline Several years of experience in optical design and analysis Proven knowledge of illumination sources and applications required Is an advantage experience that extend to optical mounting techniques and alignment of systems Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
