Measuring 36 x 13.5 x 14.8 mm, MS 15 provides 40 micron grating pitch on 8 mm wide steel tape carrier that has double-stick backing for direct mounting to machine axis. Measuring tape, which comes with accuracies of ±5 or ±15 microns/m and in lengths to 20 m, lets users choose reference mark (printed every 50 mm). Available with 1 Vp-p analog output or digital TTL output with resolution down to 100 nm, reader head features built-in online compensation and can achieve up to 10 mps velocity.
