RHEA is currently recruiting an Optoelectronics Engineer to support the Optics Section at our clients premises in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Performance Analysis of Optical Payload Straylight Analysis of Complex Optical Systems Conceptual design of optical systems, as telescopes, spectrometers, Translation of optical payload requirements into optical specifications Definition of optical performance validation and calibration plan, Analysis of test results, Followon of technology development high precision optical components. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory Master Degree in Optical Engineering or Physics or equivalent qualification by experience. Minimum 6 years of project andor industrial experience in the analysis of various types of optical instrumentation. Several years experience in precision optical measurements at system, subassembly and component level. Good technical judgement and excellent verbal and written communication skills, in the English language. Experience in space project work, and of operations in a cleanroom environment.
