Oracle planning 'aggressive' push into the cloud, with 2,000 new hires

(Telecompaper) Oracle is planning an "aggressive" push into the cloud, with plans to hire almost 2,000 new employees and to invest in more real estate to support that new workforce. The new employees will boost the company's Oracle Cloud Infrastructure operations. The new roles will include software development, cloud operations, and business operations and help Oracle roll out new product innovations and expand to new cloud regions.
