(Telecompaper) Orange's board has approved a proposal by CEO Stephane Richard to appoint Ramon Fernandez and Pierre Louette as Deputy CEOs from 1 January 2016. Including Gervais Pellissier, who was appointed Deputy CEO in November 2011, the group will now have three of them. Orange said these appointments are intended to strengthen the group's governance, "enabling it to better reflect the diversity of its activities and its challenges." The three executives keep their current positions on Orange's executive committee. Fernandez is Deputy CEO in charge of group finance and strategy. Louette is Deputy CEO in charge of the general secretariat, Orange Wholesale France, group sourcing and supply chain, the Chrysalid operational efficiency programme, start-up investment, and digital ecosystem relationships.
