(Telecompaper) Orange group CEO Stephane Richard told staff at Orange Spain that the company has changed its policy on European mobile roaming after fighting European Commission-led changes to gradually reduce trans-border roaming prices. "We want to be the first European operator to offer completely European communications everywhere we are present", he declared. Orange plans to announce the change in a few months. According to the report from French paper Les Echos, the company's "Monsier Roaming", Benoit Scheen, head of Orange's European activities outside France, is in charge of the process that may see Orange charge nearly the same for calls between its international affiliates as for national calls.
