(Telecompaper) Orange has unveiled four new own-brand smartphones in an attempt to build on a 48 percent growth in European sales of its handsets between 2013 and 2014. The Orange Dive 30, Dive 50, Dive 70 and Nura 2 are all CAT 4 LTE handsets designed to ensure every segment of the market is catered for. The Orange Dive 30 and Dive 50 are the company's lower-end offerings, priced at EUR 79 and EUR 89 and featuring screens of 4 inches and 4.5-inches, respectively. Orange said the Dive 70, which is priced at EUR 139 and comes with a 5-inch HD screen, is the first device in Europe to come with an embedded password and file security vault, integrated via a partnership with Keeper Security. Orange has also partnered with Yahoo for the first time to integrate the Yahoo Aviate intelligent homescreen into the Dive 70. The device features a 1.1 GHz quad-core chipset, with an 8 megapixel rear camera (2 megapixel front camera), 1 GB RAM, 8 GB memory and a Micro SD slot. Finally, the The Nura 2, which will be launched at the end of September in France, is indicatively priced at EUR 239 and comes with a 5.5-inch full HD screen. Orange added that it will be the company's first own-brand smartphone to include an octa-core processor.
