(Telecompaper) Orange is bringing together a large part of its existing content holdings into a new division, named Orange Content, reporting directly into group CEO Stephane Richard. Coinciding with this announcement, the group confirmed its commitment to content production by earmarking EUR 100 million to support original TV series, and has also released details of new content agreements with partners including Canal Plus. Orange Content will be led by the current Orange Studio CEO David Kessler, as Director, with the support of Orange executive Serge Laroye, as Deputy Director. Operational from September, the new entity will incorporate the group's current content teams, including its subsidiaries OCS, Orange Studio and OPTV (Orange Prestations TV).
