Orange to launch Djingo speaker with Alexa support by spring, alongside new smart home, security services

2018-12-12 14:55:00| Telecompaper Headlines

(Telecompaper) Orange presented a range of new products and services at its annual Hello Show on 12 December. The event was also the opportunity to announce that the Djingo smart speaker, developed jointly with Deutsche Telekom, will be in stores by spring, later than the earlier expected year-end launch. Pricing is expected to start at EUR 49. The speaker is named after the Djingo voice-controlled personal assistant, which is also the virtual advisor for Orange Bank customers. Additionally, the device will support Alexa, as Orange and Amazon have partnered to expand multi-assistant integration in their future products.
