Thanks to the popularity of fleece jackets and railcars, Oregon's representation on an elite business list has risen by 40 percent. The Fortune 1000, the definitive list of U.S. companies with the highest gross revenues, added Columbia Sportswear and Greenbrier Companies to its 2015 ranks.
