Thursday's $855 million sale of Blount International is the latest in a long string of deals this year for many of Oregon's biggest companies. The selling spree is fueled by low interest rates, large corporate cash balances, changing technologies and the fact the Oregon has relatively few large companies - so they're more likely to be sellers than buyers.
