TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Spaceopal PA Management team is distributed across Spaceopal premises in Munich and the two Galileo Control Center GCCI and GCCD, and directly interface with different Operations, Engineering and Management functions at different organizational levels. PA Management also directly interfaces with Customer and Subcontractor Management both for MissionConstellation Management COM, MOM, SOM and with onsite PA counterpart. The open position is for a Spaceopal PA Senior Engineer working place is at the company premises in Munich, with possible frequent travels to the GCCs andor other facilities in Europe. Heshe will report to the SPO PA Team Lead, act on hisher behalf w.r.t the delegated functions, and act as Deputy Team lead when delegated by the Lead Team, also supporting the overall Galileo PA Team Company plus subcontractors members coordination. The main expected experience and skills are Proven Experience in supporting Real Time Operations. Experience at system level of Spacecraft Operations both for deployment and routine phases. Good knowledge in PAQA in the satellite operations business, and of Quality Management Systems and Standards e.g. ISO and ECSS standards Experience in Galileo Program is an asset as well as experience in subcontractor management. The main tasks are Customer interface in QA, PA and Safety aspects of the project. Surveillance and management of subcontractors with respect to product assurance, and quality related matters. Managingcoordination of anomaly life cycle using ESA Standards Tools ARTS, NCTS and involvementchairing Anomalies Review Boards Managingcoordination of configuration change life cycle using ESA Standard tools and involvementchairing Configuration Control Boards. Provide improvement input to various operational processes and activities e.g. Problem Resolution Processes, Configuration Management activities Support in planning and coordination of internal and external project quality audits Supporting Project Management in different areas such us contractual activities, KPIs, Risk Management and other company processes. Participation to Project and Milestones reviews. Participation to Operations Preparation and Validation activities REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE To be eligible, a candidate must comply with the following Have a degree in Engineering, Physics or equivalent with at least 5 years of work experience, or in alternative have at least 10 years of work experience in operational environment Have a significant PA QA Experience in ESA Programs Demonstrate adequate background in Spacecraft Operations Possess good liaising and communication skills Being problem solving oriented Have a fluent knowledge of English. Be capable to set own priorities. The following will be a plus Working experience and background in GALILEO or EGNOS programmes Knowledge of German andor Italian languages possess a Security Clearance have experience in Ground Segment andr Flight Operations Availability to frequent travel in Europe WORK LOCATION Work location shall primarily be at Spaceopal premises in Munich D with frequent travels to the GCCD in Oberpfaffenhofen D and GCCI Fucino Italy.
