With APCe8670 Carrier Card, users can interface PMZ mezzanine module to PC across PCI Express bus. Bridge chip handles PCI-X to PCIe conversion between plug-in PMC module and host computer. Carrier's PCIe x4 interface supports up to 4 serial lanes for rapid data transfer. Three PMC PCI-X bus sockets interface through bridge to carrier's PCIe x4 edge connector, while other PMC socket routes 32 LVDS I/O to rear SCSI port for board-to-board communication.
