Manufactured from medical grade Pebax polymers and USP VI additives, HLS™ Polyether Block Amide Copolymers include stabilizer system that can decompose and neutralize free radicals created by exposure to oxygen, heat, and UV light, extending functionality of medical devices. Following 6 months of exposure to multi-source indoor light, HLS 2533 MED test samples retained 99% tensile strength whereas non-stabilized PEBA samples demonstrated severe degradation after 3 months of light exposure.
