PEN announces longlists for literary awards

Several Bay Area writers are among the more than 90 authors who have been longlisted for this year's PEN Literary Awards , whose categories include fiction, nonfiction, biography and essays. Local authors who made the cut are Rabih Alameddine, Molly Antopol, Mark Fainaru-Wada and Steve Fainaru, Steven Johnson, Yiyun Li, James Nestor and Scott Saul.
