This position, based near Frankfurt in Germany, is for a PMO Planning and Scheduling Consultant. Our client is responsible for establishing and operating weather forecasting and Earth observation satellite programmes with associated data telemetry and dissemination operations. The consultant will support the clients Technical and Scientific Support Department participating in the planning and scheduling of their projects portfolio. The consultant shall have at least 5 years experience with the following Planning and scheduling within a large project including conflict resolution Project Portfolio management Expert level usage of MS Project and MS Excel Proven experience in using scheduling planning tools Any experience of scheduling for space segment programmes andor ground segment development and operations will be considered an advantage Candidates should possess a University degree or equivalent. Fluency in English is essential. This is a freelance contract assignment with an initial period of 2 years starting in August 2013 with two options to extend for a further period of one year each.
