RHEA is currently recruiting a PRS Scheduler Consultant to support the Technical and Scientific Support TSS Department activities at our clients premises in Darmstadt, Germany. Tasks and Activities Your primary tasks and activities may include Establishing, coordinating and monitoring all planning and scheduling across the TSS Department including maintenanceevolution of ground segment systems, operational projects and developmentevolution of observational products related activities Generating, monitoring and controlling TSS projects portfolio planning and schedules produced as part of the TSS multiprojects management system Assisting team leaders in the planning of resources and generate reporting on resource usageavailability Developing and analysing schedule performance indicators Establishing a set of schedule trackers, metrics and performance indicators allowing to manage efficiently a portfolio of projects and report on the allocation of resources in a matrix support environment Maintaining schedule documentation and update the multiprojects planning database in coordination with the schedule responsible Documenting schedule assumptions, modifications, deviations, risks, critical path and milestone trend evolution Ensuring that all schedule conflicts are resolved Contributing to schedule review meetings with relevant teams and participating in meetings to understand status of activities Liaising with the Operations Planner for coordinating and maintaining operations planning and projects As relevant, providing planning support to major programme activities including the preparations for the launch and commissioning of new satellites Ensuring all plans and schedules are distributed both internally and also to relevant external partnersentities using email, Intranet and Extranet Skills and Experience You must possess the following skills and experience University degree or equivalent, preferably in a management or engineering discipline At least 3 5 years proven handson experience in project planning, scheduling, monitoring and control Extensive handson experience in schedule preparation, monitoring and control, for complexlarge system programmes or multiproject environment, as well as in planning and monitoring the allocated Human Resources, including planning conflict resolution Expert level usage of Microsoft Project or similar project schedulingplanning and management tools Extensive handson experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite and in particular Word and Excel Direct experience of scheduling for spaceground segment development or operations will be considered as an advantage Good interpersonal and communication skills to be able to interface efficiently with both the management and technical levels of the tasks Capability to conduct all activities in an orderly and disciplined manner Ability to work calmly and correctly under stress Ability to draft concise management reports and executive level presentations in English and the capability and experience to fulfil the assigned support tasks with a minimum of supervision Fluent in English How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
