Supplied in 3 x 3 mm, 10-pin DFN package, RoHS-compliant XRP6670 operates from 2.6–5.5 V input and can supply up to 3 A continuous current with adjustable output voltage as low as 0.8 V. Synchronous current mode PWM voltage regulator accommodates range of inductor and output capacitor values through its constant 300 kHz to 2.5 MHz programmable operating frequency. Adjustable frequency range, set via single resistor, lets user optimize size, transient response, and efficiency.
