We are currently looking for a Packaging Electronics Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Packaging Electronics Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Electronics Technology Packaging Engineering team, you will be responsible for the mechanical and thermal design of an electronic unit from the architecture phase to the qualification phase and delivery of flight units and have the following tasks Coordinating the technical team in charge of mechanical design CAD Office, PCB layout routing, mechanical and thermal analyses and justification files Coordinating the Technology Engineer in charge of qualification of EEE parts assembly, and the Reduction Method Engineer for the implementation of the design for manufacturing rules Assess and provide justification about the mechanical thermal behaviour of the units Responsible for the specifications and establishing the equipment physical designs with the typical main parts Preparing the unit mechanical assembly tools and procedures with support of Production Methods, Design Office and Quality Teams in order to ensure the optimized production cost Defining and validating the mechanical and thermal designs of the packaging, supported by mathematical analyses structure and thermal provided by the Design Office Preparing and supporting the Test and Validation Team for equipment qualification and acceptance tests mechanical and thermal. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Masters degree level as a Stress Engineer Mechanical Thermal Design of electronics units Experience in Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering MCAD Catia, Creo ECAD Mentor would be a plus Knowledge in mechanical andor thermal simulation tools Independently high interest in technical challenges Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German is an Advantage.
