The 2013 World Standards Day Paper Competition has been announced by U.S. Celebration of World Standards Day Planning Committee and paper competition’s sponsor, SES – The Society for Standards Professionals. Theme for this year's competition, "Standards for a World at Work and Play," reflects many ways that standards function as tool to bolster consistency, repeatability, dependability, and excellence in wide variety of technologies and fields.
