Working with coolant pressure of 145–1,160 psi, Parting Blade Adapters for BMT/DO machines ensure precision cooling of both insert and parting blade, optimizing chip control and tool life. Coolant flows through adapter directly into and through parting blade to cutting zone. O-ring seal ensures that coolant transfers efficiently with no loss of pressure. Adapter has adjustable center height for each workpiece within range of ±0.020 in., allowing exact center position to be set on any workpiece.
