The longtime commissioner didn't file to run for a fourth term, ensuring his reign will end after 12 years serving Lincoln County. Come December, the Lincoln County native will no longer have to juggle 50-60 hour work weeks as a Harris Teeter co-manager coupled with the responsibilities of someone who oversees a county's decision-making.
