Robert Wilmers , the longtime chairman and CEO of Buffalo's M&T Bank , received a compensation package last year worth $4.2 million, nearly 15 percent more than he received in 2013, according to a new regulatory filing. The increase doesn't stem from higher salary or bonus pay; rather, it is the result of a change in pension value from $226,467 to $989,767.
