As county fair season gets underway, lets remember to instill the six pillars of Character Counts in todays youth responsibility, respect, trustworthiness, fairness, caring and citizenship. Perhaps one more pillar needs to be added to the 4-H program, which encourages 4-H youth to become leaders as adults; that pillar would be advocacy.
