Phoenix hotel part of $224 million acquisition

The Hampton Inn Phoenix Airport hotel was one of nine hotels acquired by Dallas-based Ashford Hospitality Trust Inc. Ashford announced Wednesday that it paid $224 million in cash for hotels in Boston; Wichita, Kansas; Columbus; Pittsburgh; Phoenix; Stillwater, Oklahoma; and Ann Arbor, Michigan.
