Pikmin, Nintendo's much-loved surrealist strategy video game series, is to be turned into a short film by talismanic Nintendo developer Shiergu Miyamoto. Prosaically named Pikmin Short Movie, the film was born out of content Miyamoto wasn't able to use in the games but still wanted to explore.
