Pitt to aid displaced U.S. Steel employees

The University of Pittsburgh's Small Business Development Center has received a $100,000 Small Business Administration grant to help displaced workers and small business owners affected by the closing of a United States Steel Corp. plant in McKeesport. U.S. Steel announced the indefinite idling of the plant in June 2014, citing the importation of unfairly traded tubular products into the country.
