Plans for brewery in Gainesville in the works

Anheuser-Busch has nothing to worry about but a brewery, actually a microbrewery, is in the works in Gainesville. The city Planning and Appeals Board Tuesday will be asked to rezone a piece of property on the west side of town, just off Jesse Jewell Parkway, so that it can be used for a microbrewery expected to employ 22 people, working "two or three" shifts over the next 5-7 years.
