Platform Services Analyst mf 2year fixedterm Ref SES0411 Region Europe Location Luxembourg Betzdorf Company SES Category Other Engineering Technical Position Staff Context The TechCom Operations Customer Services team is experiencing a temporary increase in workload and is suffering from a manpower shortage in some of its service contracts For the twoyear duration, the position incumbent will support Service Managers in fulfilling contractual obligations addressing reliability and quality of service of VSAT systems. More specifically, the Service Analyst will be in charge of investigating identified issues that may lead to impairment or impacts on committed quality of service. Shehe shall also aim at suggestingimplementing solutions for continuous service improvements. Beside analysis of identified issues and support to Customers during VSAT commissioning phases, shehe will prepare reports to be shared with Customers describing analysis results, resolution suggestions as well as continuous improvement recommendations. On a daytoday basis, shehe will support the Service Managers in charge of the services but also interface both the engineering and operations teams. Shehe will be in contact and interface as well Customers, Installers as well as Suppliers. Responsibilities SheHe will be responsible for Investigationsanalysis of issues observed during VSAT service provisions Identification of root causes of issuesproblems and recommend implement improvements Shehe will support Support Service Managers in providing contractually agreed Quality of Service of VSAT servicessystems The writing, coordination, negotiation of service agreements KPIs with Customers as well as Suppliers and Subcontractors The setup of costpricing sheets in the frame of proposal setup and with respect to maintenance and repair services The coordination with other internal functions engineering, operations, project control for the transparent and effective realization of the services The provision of inputs for internal weekly reports including inputs into timesheet reporting systems SheHe is expected to deliver Support in the set up and preservation of efficient service management structures Regular reporting to Line Management through weekly reports of activities with special emphasis on status of different services and potential issues Effective communication workflow of information Successful and businessexpanding customer relationships Shehe may be requested to travel to visit Customers, Vendors, Partners Experience Qualifications Bachelor and preferably a Masters degree in either RF, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology 3 to 5 years proven working experience in a maximum of engineering, implementation, operations, monitoring of VSAT systemsservices domains Good theoretical and practical good understanding of RF transmissionreception systems Proven practical experience in the engineering, operations of IP networks preferably in the domain of VSAT systemsservices Proactive approach towards existing and potential customers Continuous improvement mindset A selfstarter who is able to work independently and with minimal supervision Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills Excellent attention to detail Able to manage hisher time efficiently, excellent coordination and priority setting abilities, and ability to work to deadlines Excellent interpersonal skills, open minded, teamplayer and ready to join a multinational environment Analytical sense Our Offer Competitive salary package, coupled with a diverse array of challenges and development benefits.
