Polyester chain prices have fallen across the board over the weekend with most petrochemical products eventually losing 15-20% in two weeks. PTA prices have heavily dropped, leaving room for a new decline of polyester prices in the coming period. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono-ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices.
