Polyester Chain Prices: PX, PTA, MEG and Fiber Prices (Weekly Report)

Crude oil prices have sharply declined in the past days, following the outbreak of the coronavirus in China. With the Chinese holiday being extended, and business activities in the first part of next month being curbed therefore, polyester chain prices can be expected significantly falling. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices.
