Polyester chain prices have fallen across the board in the last week, over a sharp decline of material costs and weak demand from polyester fiber producers resulting in a jump in iventories. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices.
