Polyester intermediate prices have stayed firm in the last seven days, whatever the fall of crude oil prices on the global market. The rebound of polyester sales in September could eventually boost PTA and MEG prices. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices.
