Polyester Chain Prices: PX, PTA, MEG and Fiber Prices (Weekly Report)

Polyester intermediate prices have remained firm in the past seven days in Asia, over an accidental fall in PTA production in China. With Chinese capacities rising this year significantly, PTA prices are not expected to rebound, however. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. PTA and MEG prices are available for import and domestic markets in China and India. All data are available for download.
