Polyester fiber prices could drop further in the coming year, as production capacities of China's PTA industry will surge by more than 20%. The consecutive fall in PTA prices may result in lower polyester prices. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. PTA and MEG prices are available for import and domestic markets in China and India. All data are available for download.
