Polyester chain prices have risen further in the last seven days in Asia, over a continuous increase of crude oil prices. Naphtha, mixed xylene, paraxylene, PTA, and MEG have benefited from a rebound in optimism, whereas polyester filament yarn prices were significantly increased in China. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. PTA and MEG prices are available for import and domestic markets in China and India. All data are available for download.
