Polyester chain prices rose further in the last seven days in Asia, over the recent rise in crude oil prices. The looming sanitary crisis in Western countries could depress demand and prices, however. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. PTA and MEG prices are available for import and domestic markets in China and India. All data are available for download.
