Polyester chain prices are now declining in the Far East, over a drop in demand ahead of Chinese holidays. PTA and MEG prices are also declining in India, after previously surging. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. PTA and MEG prices are available for import and domestic markets in China and India. All data are available for download.
