Polyester chain prices declined further in the past week in the Far East due to a fall in crude oil prices, whereas demand for polyester fibers plunged in China. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. PTA and MEG prices are available for import and domestic markets in China and India. All data are available for download.
