Polyester chain prices fell overall in the last week after OPEC + countries failed in agreeing over production levels. Demand remains firm from polyester producers, limiting any drop in PTA and MEG prices. Our weekly report covers the polyester chain in Asia, including PX (paraxylene), PTA (purified terephthalic acid), MEG (mono ethylene glycol), polyester chips, and polyester staple and filament prices. PTA and MEG prices are available for import and domestic markets in China and India. All data are available for download.
